Boxes

Moving forward from my emulations of Per Johansen’s bottles I chose to experiment with the idea of using an alternative vessel, in this case chocolate boxes. I took boxes and replaced their contents with savoury or fresh alternatives of similar dimensions.

I again used a staged set with softbox lighting and a white backdrop to photograph my elements.

At first glance, all looks as expected but there is something about the images that suggests a closer look would reveal more. I think the fresh orange and the twiglets replacing the original contents worked particularly well.
